PUBLIC EDUCATION ENRICHMENT FUND

S P E C I A L    M E E T I N G

May 21, 2009

  1. Meeting called to order by Judy Nielsen at 6:04 p.m. 
  2. Establish quorum: Six members present when called to order. Members in attendance: Chip Carman, Judy Nielsen, Jack Meeks, Susan Rogers, Paul Shampay, Cassandra Walstrom.
    Absent: Holly Hermansen, Elisa Parker.
  3. Adoption of the Agenda as submitted (Rogers/Meeks). Passed unanimously.
  4. Open public forum: No members of the public present.

Action Item

1. Shall the PEEF board approve a letter of endorsement for the Economic Resource Council to obtain a Broadband Stimulus Grant that will allow Nevada County to be more fully connected to information and technology available now and in the future?

After discussion of the issue, it was moved (Rogers/Wahlstrom) to approve the action item as stated above. Passed unanimously.
